³⁰ Some distance away a large herd of pigs was feeding. ³¹ The demons pleaded with him, “If you cast us out, send us into the herd of pigs.” ³² He said to them, “Go, then!” They came out and entered the pigs. The entire herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake, and they perished in the water.
